Study found that taking 250mg/day or 600mg/day of Ashwagandha reduced stress levels and cortisol in the blood. People who took Ashwagandha also slept better. The study concluded that Ashwagandha can help reduce stress and anxiety.

The study showed that Holy Bail can be helpful in treating generalized anxiety disorders, along with the related stress and depression. It also improved the ability to adjust and focus. Therefore, Holy Basil has the potential to be a promising treatment for GAD and a useful anxiolytic agent in the future.

Holy Basil for Stress, Anxiety
In this study, 158 healthy adults who reported feeling stressed were randomly assigned to take either a holy basil extract supplement every day for 60 days. The group taking the holy basil supplement had significantly lower stress levels. They also showed improvements in other areas related to stress and anxiety, such as sleep quality and overall quality of life.
