Valerian for Anxiety
The purpose of this study was to see if Valerian can help with anxiety. Thirty-six people with anxiety were split into three groups and randomly given either Valerian or prescriptive medicine or no medicine for four weeks. Everyone in all three groups felt less anxious after the four weeks, but only the Valerian and precription drug groups had less anxiety in their thoughts. The results are promising for Valerian

Chamomile for Sleep, Postpartum Depression
This study aimed to evaluate the effects of chamomile tea on sleep quality, fatigue and depression in postpartum women. The results showed that the group who took chamomile tea had significantly lower scores of physical-symptoms-related sleep inefficiency and symptoms of depression. Therefore, chamomile tea may be recommended to postpartum women as a supplementary approach to alleviating depression and sleep quality problems.
